I am a very enthusiastic amateur at photography, and I love taking pictures of the local region. I am especially interested in interesting combinations of colours (sunrises, sunsets), complex geometric structures (the bridges, the Angel to some extent), water (the Tyne, the Wear, the sea), and quirky local features (the Shoe Tree, the worn gravestones at Tynemouth). I am especially known for obsessing over the High Level Bridge over the Tyne, to the extent that I have taken over a hundred photos of it and drawn one of them!
